NEW $5000 ALFRESCO REBATE GOES LIVE IN TIME FOR SUMMER

Hospitality businesses across the state can now register for the NSW Government’s $5000 Alfresco Restart Rebate, with the program now live.

Cabinet Secretary, the Hon. Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC said small and medium-sized businesses which are opening or expanding alfresco dining areas may be eligible for the rebate.

“We know being outside is the safest way to enjoy ourselves during the pandemic, and this rebate will make it easier for local businesses to embrace everything outdoor dining has to offer,” Mrs Maclaren-Jones said.

‘ADOPT NOT SHOP’ FOR A NEW PET THIS CHRISTMAS

Families across the state looking to bring a new furry friend home this Christmas are encouraged to ‘Adopt not shop’ when making their choice.

Cabinet Secretary, the Hon. Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC said free lifetime pet registration is now on offer for people who adopt a rescue pet from council pounds and animal shelters to ensure more dogs and cats find a forever home.

“If you are considering welcoming a new pet into your home this Christmas, pay a visit to the local council pound, animal shelters or any approved rehoming organisations across NSW,” Mrs Maclaren-Jones said

TWO $25 DINE AND DISCOVER VOUCHERS LAND IN TIME FOR SUMMER

The summer holidays just got even better for NSW residents, with two additional $25 Dine & Discover vouchers rolling out for eligible customers from today.

Cabinet Secretary, the Hon. Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC said the NSW Government’s $250 million program expansion, announced as part of the $2.8 billion economic recovery package, means new applicants will receive three Dine NSW and three Discover NSW vouchers, while existing customers would receive one of each.

FUNDING BOOST TO SUPPORT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM-SURVIVORS IN NSW

More domestic violence victim-survivors across the state will receive critical support with a $20 million relief package for more than 180 NSW specialist frontline services being delivered, as an annual international violence prevention campaign kicks off today.

Cabinet Secretary, the Hon. Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC said the package will provide extra funding for vital frontline sexual and domestic violence services.
