From time to time, the NSW Government provides awards to recognise excellence in our State including:

• Community and public service awards 
• NSW Women of the Year Awards
• Hidden Treasures Honour Roll
• Rural Women’s Award

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGES

Australians living in NSW can receive a congratulatory message from the NSW Premier for their 80^th birthday, and every fifth year thereafter, and couples celebrating 50 years or more of marriage.

GRANTS

The NSW Liberals and Nationals Government provides a wide range of grants and financial assistance for small businesses.

To receive a grant involves an application process and to find out what opportunities are available, visit:

• Business.gov.au for a variety of grants and small business help;
• Grant Connect for businesses mainly in the entrepreneurial, medical, environment, and community space; and
• The local council where your business is located for community grants and sponsorships.

Financial rebates, discounts and incentives is often targeted towards a particular purpose. For example, to support business expansion or develop employees’ skills.
